The Boldt Company is seeking an energetic individual with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. A successful hire will possess knowledge working with Manitowoc, Grove, and Link Belt cranes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain clean, safe and well-maintained cranes
- Assembly and disassembly of hydraulic and lattice boom cranes
- Maintenance of all construction related equipment
- Demonstrate working knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, EKS, ECOS systems
- Maintain quality and safety standards without exception
- Perform other duties as directed by management
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent work experience. Minimum of three years of experience of assemble and disassembly of hydraulic and lattice boom cranes. Mechanical experience is required. NCCCO Certifications and experience in proper crane set up and site evaluation skills is preferred. CDL license is a plus. Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. Must possess organizational and problem-solving skills. This is an advanced level position with on-the-job training opportunities and opportunities for advancement.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk and hear. The employee regularly is required to walk and reach with hands. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee frequently uses computer keyboard, regularly travels (as vehicle driver and as passenger on various modes of transportation), and o performs work on-site at construction work sites. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee views computer monitor frequently.
