  • Knowledge of healthcare industry practices, HIPAA, and applicable data privacy practices preferred
  • Knowledge of PBM or health care industry preferred
  • Ability to organize information, learn complex technologies, and explain concepts and instructions clearly and concisely
  • Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into easily understandable language
  • Extensive experience with core software applications, include Microsoft Word and Excel required; Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio preferred

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Systems Trainer, Enterprise Initiatives, ensures efforts are in alignment with the Enterprise Services team to support customer-focused objectives and the IT Vision, a collaborative partner delivering innovative ideas, solutions and services to simplify people's lives. The Systems Trainer, Enterprise Initiatives, is responsible for creating training materials across a multitude of Navitus applications including claim adjudication platform and conducting training sessions to enable clients and functional areas to accomplish their daily work using a multitude of Navitus applications including claim adjudication platform. The Systems Trainer, Enterprise Initiatives, will provide training support via multiple communication channels including phone, video conference, WebEx and onsite (when Client requested).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Innovate and create value for the customer
  • Design and create training materials for multiply Navitus applications
  • Conduct training classes by presenting job-specific, company-specific and best practices uses of multiply Navitus applications
  • Reinforce training concepts and best practices by holding special workshops and train the trainer sessions
  • Conduct regular training needs assessment with clients and functional areas by collecting information pertaining to work procedures, work flow and job-specific functions and tasks
  • Foster a collaborative working environment with functional teams
  • Proactively research Navitus application changes to determine impact and scope of changes for existing documentation
  • Design and implement tools / measures to evaluate impact / success of training
  • Document and retain records of all training, reviews, and feedback
  • Provide input on documentation templates, design and the overall documentation process
  • Proofread and edit documentation to ensure consistency of language, style and template standardization
  • Collaborate with supervisor and peers to help reinforce team values across Enterprise Services, Security, Innovation, Client Operations and Partner Services
  • Mentor less experienced team members, as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned
