Engineering Project Manager
Jacobs serves the PharmaBio, Chemicals, Refining, Pulp & Paper, Power & Utilities, High Tech and Consumer Products Industries. Primary Job Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the total execution and management of medium to large size EPC Pulp & Paper, Consumer Products and Food & Beverage industry projects including: administration of the project, schedule and budgetary performance, quality, safety and technical detail.
The individual will expect to be placed in a position of presenting themselves and Jacobs to the client in a professional manner. The opportunities will include presentations prior to contract awards, contract negotiations and ongoing project meetings/problem resolution sessions.
The successful candidate will have experience in total project responsibility (EPC), including client relationships, cost/schedule, etc. and a working knowledge of IPA, CII and/or PMI principles.
- 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in an Engineering or Construction organization is required
- A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in an engineering discipline
- PMP Certification helpful but not required
- Experience in developing and executing capital projects, preferably in an Engineering & Construction environment, in Pulp & Paper, Consumer Products or Food & Beverage industries is required
- Travel required 25% of the time
- Position will work out of our Green Bay and Appleton offices
