Jobing Description
The City of Oshkosh (pop. 66,000) is accepting applications for a Principal Planner-Housing/CDBG Administrator. This position administers various housing and neighborhood-related programs, including Fair Housing activities. Responsibilities include administering the annual Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), preparing the 5-year Consolidated Plan, Action Plans, and Comprehensive Annual Performance Reports (CAPER), and financial records; maintains the Integrated Disbursement and Information System (IDIS) and monitors recipient performance; assists with current planning, historic preservation, sustainability, economic development and the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan; and performs relocation related duties relative to department acquired property. Skills / Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree in Public Administration, Planning, or related field; at least three to five years practical experience in acquisition and relocation, housing rehabilitation, CDBG administration or urban planning; and a valid WI Drivers License.
