Job Description:
Join an automated pharmacy where your interest in providing quality pharmaceutical services is valued. Round and collaborate with physicians and nurses in a decentralized inpatient environment. Clinical responsibilities include pharmacokinetics, code response, and drug therapy review. Essential Job Duties:Communicates with others all information needed to meet the operational needs of the department.Participates in department projects as assigned.Mentors pharmacists in training including, but not limited to, Pharm D students from UW Madison and new staff pharmacists.Provides specialized pharmaceutical services to improve drug usage and therapeutic outcomes including, but not limited to, advising physicians on drug therapy issues.Provides documentation of completion of core competencies by the end of orientation period.Maintains code blue readiness. Practices in a way consistent with requirements of the state licensing board, rules, regulations and other regulatory agencies.Processes prescription orders in an accurate and timely manner.

Job Qualifications: BS or PharmD required. Prefer advanced degree with residency and certification along with hospital experience. Valid WI pharmacy license or eligibility required.
