Job Description

Imaging yourself

*Assessing, planning, and evaluating the needs of the patient.

*Assessing patient, family, and/or significant others educational needs and provides teaching and counseling.

*Anticipating and recognizing changes in a patient's status and need for care.
*Integrating health promotion and preventative aspects of care.

*Providing telephone, or in person consultation/triage to patient, family, and/or significant others according to guidelines.

*Assessing data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her specific needs and providing the care needed.

Skills / Requirements

General Qualifications

*Current licensure as a Registered Nurse granted by the State of Wisconsin.

*ACLS certification required and maintained according to AHA guidelines.

*Procedure knowledge: IV therapy
*CPR certification required with six months of hire date and maintained annually.


Desired Qualifications

*One year nursing experience with previous clinic experience.

*Effective time management skills.

* One year nursing experience with previous ICU, ER, or Surgical experience preferred.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
